Concrete is increasingly being recognized as an environmentally responsible building material. The main component of cement is limestone, one of the most common minerals found on earth. Limestone’s world-wide availability allows it to be harvested local to concrete manufacturing facilities. This greatly reduces the resources and emissions required for transportation, particularly when compared to products like granite and marble which require huge amounts of resources for both the mining process and shipment across the world to finishing facilities.

Many of the secondary ingredients in Nucrete’s concrete are made using recycled waste products from industrial plants. These would otherwise end up in landfill sites.

All of our sealers are food grade and low VOC compliant.

Concrete’s incredibly long lifespan means that it will not need to be replaced in your lifetime. The Roman aqueducts are evidence of that!
